Radiata Pine Plantations

Radiata Pine, or pinus Radiata, is a considerably popular wood. It is commonly known as Moterey Pine and/or Insignis Pine in the British Isles, USA, and Canada. Although Radiata Pine is a tree native to North America, in the recent years, it has gained popularity as a plantation tree in Chile, New Zealand, Australia, Spain and South Africa. Radiata Pine is a medium-sized tree that grows anywhere between 15 to 60 meters tall. It is an easy to grow species, and it produces a large yield of multifunctional wood, which is why it is so widely used. Another reason for its popularity is its easy availability. Also, it can be used in a variety of projects from structural construction-based ones to more artistic and decorative ones. It translates to each of these visions perfectly. Furthermore, there is very little wastage where Radiata Pine is concerned. While the wood is put to good use in construction, landscaping, interior finishing and furnishing projects, the tree bark is used to make adhesives (the bark contains tannins that are then used to make adhesives). The wood is also easy to treat and stain.
